weird consistency
Jul. 7th, 2004 02:53 pmI just started using the Keeper this menstrual cycle. I love it -- it's clean, it doesn't dry me out, and it doesn't create waste. One thing I have noticed though is that the blood collected is super mucousy. Like, when I empty it there will be strands of it 18" long, or when I remove the Keeper there will be a strand of mucousy blood hanging out of me still. I'd never noticed this when using other methods (pads, tampon, or Instead). Is the uterine lining always like this? Or since the Keeper rests up around my cervix, could it somehow be inducing the production of extra mucous? Is this just a normal idiosyncracy of my vagina, or is it something to worry about?
