This community looks fantastic.

I'd like to share a positive menstrual story:

It was twilight, and I was laying on my bed, listening to strange tribal rhythmic music. The room was very cool and dark- I could see the shadows of the trees dancing on my ceiling. I felt the music pulling me in and out, almost like a pulsing contraction...I got a very strong visual of a snake coiled inside of my uterus. I let my eyes close and I felt the snake uncoil and slither down my canal, glittering and sneaky.

When I woke up from my trance I had started my period, and blood was all over my thighs. I felt like I had accomplished something great and feminine. Something a man could never do.

Ever since then, I've felt like my period is a very sexy and sacred thing. I don't let Tampax make me feel dirty or debilitated about it anymore. I enjoy it.

that's pretty damn cool...i've noticed that my best meditation and most intense experiences have come minutes before my period. i've had my period start RIGHT after really wild meditation sessions twice now.

Very very cool, i'm usually too depressed the week/day/minute before my period to concentrate on something beautiful, but thats still totally awesome

Tea is not like abortion at all. The point of the icon is to take two completely different connotations and combine them in a shocking way.
Tea is used to induce miscarriage and to stimulate menstruation, however.
