my period started yesterday.. it was over a month late (41 days actually), i was supposed to get it on May 29th but it never came (probably because i've been so stressed).. anyway, it's here now.. &i'm happy.
i don't have any cramps (i never do get bad cramps) and everything seems ok, but..my period is pretty heavy. it's not really bad or anything, but it's heavier than usual. could this be because it was late?


oh and.. i can't seem to get in to cyclespage.com.. is there something wrong with the site or is it just my computer? ah, it's working now :)

Not sure about your period but cyclespage.com is working fine for me, maybe you just tried to go there when they were doing maintenance?

That's definetly why it's heavier. Kinda like if you waited an extra month to get your hair cut to its usual length. There would be more excess to cut off because it had more time to grow.

Same with your period. Your uterine lining had more time to build up so when it finally came, there was more to be expelled. That will usually make it either heavier, clottier (i know that's not really a word), or darker...or all three.
