I ordered my divacup last wednesday right before i got offline. i went to the bathroom and noticed that i had just started my period. I was excited today at work because my period finally decided to end. I got home and had a package...my cup. I'm sad, I have a new toy and can't play with it quite yet!

p.s. thank you very much to whoever recommended going to Rhythm & Blues Pads!! I got three free pantylners with my purchase, Very awesome!

Even though your period is over, you can still play with it. I would actually recommend messing around with it and trying it out so that you have a better idea of how to get it in comfortably when your time does come back around. That's what is really neat about the divacup. You can insert it even when you're not bleeding and it's still safe, like the night or day before your period so you don't have a mess to deal with when it comes.

Although do bear in mind that your blood can have a major lubricating effect, so if you're trying it 'dry', you're more likely to need water-based lube to help you insert/remove it.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Frustrating, isn't it? I've never looked forward to a period before, but damn, I looked forward to the next one. Wanted to have a go with the new toy!

Awesome! They've got the bestest pantyliners ever. Mine are all tie-dyed. I noticed that they don’t have the tie-dye or the goddess pattern anymore :-(

I use a "dry method" of cleaning the pantyliners. Basically, when I take them off, I usually (ok, I admit it, not always) rinse them under running water, then I put them into a lingerie bag in a bucket by the sink. I do *not* soak them like many women do. I let them dry out and then whenever I do laundry, I toss the lingerie bag in with the laundry (I was using public laundry rooms for a while and I didn't have to worry about a pad "breaking free" and falling onto the floor when I had them all in one bag – more controllable.). It's super easy. Just as easy as washing my underwear!
