Yes, as the subject states, tampons hate me. I have had my period forever now, and everytime I put a tampon in, it leaks.. every single time. Now, I have tried putting it in every single way, every single size.

Someone please help me...

Please.

Maybe you could try something else... Have you ever heard of the diva cup or keeper? They are cups that go in your vagina and collect the blood. They're reusable too! If you google either diva cup or keeper you'll find tons of info. They cost about 30 dollars but when you figure you are spending at least 5 bucks on tampons PER MONTH, it pays for itself.

I say this because I hated tampons too and could only use pads. But the cups work like magic for me.

I second the cup idea. I have a DivaCup and I love it! I've only leaked once I believe but that was because it was my first time with it and I let it get too full. www.divacup.com !

You can get any of them online. thekeeper.com (http://www.thekeeper.com) or divacup.com (http://www.divacup.com).
Also, I don't think it's uncommon to have leaks that require a pad. I have never, ever ever been able to not wear a pad for the whole cycle. With the Keeper I can stop wearing a pad after about the second or third day.

If you're still wanting to try tampons, I couldn't EVER find anything that didn't leak, until I came across the new "Beyond" tampons by Playtex.

The applicator is cardboard and tapered (unlike most tampons) and for some reason I've NEVER had a leak with them and I've been using them through like 3 really awful periods. They're the same price as all the other brands, but I think the regulars are more absorbent than other regulars and their supers could plug up a hole in a dam.

totally not at all. if you are used to only using tampons with applicators, it might take some getting used to, but once you figure it out it's super easy. i love mine.

I have the same problem. I just have to resort to wearing a pantyliner in addition to using the tampon. Somewhat bothersome, but still far better, in my opinion, than having to use a huge maxi-pad or somesuch thing that feels all diaperish, lol.

leaks

I used to find Tampax leaked as they seem to expand lengthways not widthways. Other brands (in th UK Lillets) go widthways and were OK. My Mirena has vanquished all such needs.
