hello all... a quick question...

my period has been acting up lately. it comes on time, except what comes out is what would usually come out at the tail-end of a period. it's very dark brown, and it comes out in small amounts, that is, not enough to use anything but a very light liner. i've been told this is normal. does anyone know anything about this? should i go see a doctor?

Are you currently on the pill/shot/patch?

When I first started on the pill, mine acted the same way. I asked my doctor, and he informed me that it was normal.

This happens to me sometimes, and when I asked my Dr. about it he explained that sometimes it's due to hormonal changes. I especially notice it if I put on or lose some weight quickly.

My mother always tells me that if that happens to tell her so I can make a doctors appointment. She had endometriosis and that was one of the symptoms for her. If it happens again go to the doctor or at least give him/her a call and ask just to make sure.
