late period

hello everyone, this is my first time posting in this community, so thank you everyone in advance.

Over two weeks ago, my bf and I had sex two days in a row. Neither times did the condom break or fall off, and both times he pulled out before ejaculating. Now I know the odds of me being pregnant are very very very slim, and the only way i could be is precum, but he hadnt ejaculated before so there was no sperm for pre-cum to pick up.

I was worried at first (i always am after sex) but knew i couldnt get pregnant. I usually get my period between the 19th and 22nd (not very regular) but it is now the 27th and I still have not gotten my period. Yesterday I was so scared, I went and got a home pregnancy test, and it turned out negative. I know stress can delay a period, but i have been pretty calm lately and the month is already over. Do you think there is still a chance i can be pregnant because I am so late? if not, then why havent i gotten my period yet??

It could be the stress of worrying about the pregnancy that is causing a delay. That's happened to me before.

You mentioned taking a pregnancy test. Was it one of the tests which can detect a pregnancy very early on?

i dont think so, but its already been about 14 days since we've had sex, and im already late and should of had my period so i wouldnt need an early one would i?

You may want an early one just to be sure. Unless you're pretty sure of the days where you're ovulating, sometimes the pregnancy hormone levels can be pretty small in the span of two weeks.

I'm sure that you're probably fine, but for your own peace of mind it may be something to consider.

I've done this before, many a time. Stressed over my period to the point of causing it to come way late, just adding to the stress. I was two weeka late at one point, convinced I was pregnant, even though it would have had to be from definitly sperm-free pre-cum. There is a very very slim chance you could be pregnant (yay fo you for knowing the right facts about pre-cum) but it is not likely. Taking one of the early pregnancy tests and having it come out negative could do wonders for your mindset- but I know you won't feel perfect until it comes.
