does anyones' birth control make them sick?

i swear, i get nauseated ten million times a month, and i used to never until i started birth control. i've been through three different kinds, and nothing works. maybe my body just can't handle estrogen.

maybe it's not worth the trouble. you think? i mean, on my period, i usually don't get too bad cramps, nothing that won't go away with some midol. sex...well, i will use something else with the condoms. i'll ask the doctor when i go today.

What BC pill are you on?

One of the ones I was on made me nauseous...and murdered my sex drive. I was like "So THIS is how it works! Makes ya not want to have sex...therefore no pregnancy!". *laughs* Triphasil worked for me...I start Tri Cyclen on sunday, I'll let ya know about that :D

first i took ortho-tricyclen. then i took loestrin. now i take a stronger form of loestrin. and ALL THREE make me sick to my stomach! it's terrible!

.... sometimes it takes a while to figure out what pill is right for you - and there are something like 30 different kinds! I'm currently taking Apri, and it is making me nauseous all of the time... but keep in mind, too, that if you have just started taking the pill, the nausea may only last a couple of months, while your body adjusts to the changes in your hormone levels.

i've been taking my current pills for about five months. i dunno, but it seems like my body should have adjusted by then...and when i was on ortho-tricyclin, i'd been on it for a year and it STILL made me sick! heh. guess that's why they switched me to loestrin.

My pill sometimes add nausea to the list of PMS symptoms. I'm now also getting yeast infections and vaginatitis like mad both of which are totally killing my sex drive. Pills affect everyone differently.

argh. cramps i can handle. nausea i can't. it is just not worth it in my books.

It's mild nausea. Like if I get up too fast, I get dizzy and a little touch of nausea.

i'm allergic to progesterone and leutenising hormone. i get sick, break out, and have massive non-stop migraines if i have too much in my system.

BC pills are basically a lost cause for me...

*sigh*
