Today I feel alittle bit better.

So I have been nauseaous (& unable to spell) as hell. In addition to the Motrin for the cramps....which I should mention I no longer have!! =0)
Still bleeding relatively heavy, like every 3-4 hours I get a couple of gushes......BUT I am not passing those ginormous clots anymore either. So maybe whatever it is that is going on inside might be clearing up. Who knows?

For those of you that have been praying, thank you. I know a few of you that have very good, & strong faith and I appreciate it more than you know.

I still have the ultrasound on Saturday to try to determine what may have caused this. But I can tell you that I am definitely considering seeing another GYN because I really feel like this one does not listen to me. He put me on the pill to regulate my period. Granted I am in the 4th week of my first package, but since I have started it the bleeding and my overall wellness has dwindled. I tried explaining this to him, he told me to give it another 2 months. Also, it is a GENERIC birth control pill. I don't know if that makes a difference or not but I know my body, and my body is not very happy right now.

Still feeling all down and alone. I miss my mommy.

Gonna see the girls this weekend...I am so fucking happy about that!!! =0)

And then in a few more weeks I am going to go up and visit them for a few days.

I think that's it for now. I'm tired so I am going to go to bed early.

Hope all is well with everyone!!

And for those of you in Atlanta....have a blast at D*C!!!

My advice is to see a FEMALE gyn, this may be my feminist side talking, but I do not trust male gyns at all, to me its weird they went into the feild, only another woman can truly understand and may be a better listener.

My advise would be to see another gynecologist, but there's good male gynecologists and there's good female gynecologists. There are also bad of each. Men can certainly listen well. Unfortunately, it sounds like she's gotten a man who doesn't listen. I've had females who didn't listen.

I understand where you are coming from, considering men don't have a vagina, but women go to the same med schools men do and learn from the same textbooks/proffesors. They have all the same stupid info from the pharmecudical companies, too. So you can get good and bad from both genders, and some guys know more about periods/girly stuff than another woman the same age/education, even though she has a female body.

Well it DOES take a couple months for your body to adjust to the replacement hormones, since for all intents and purposes, that's what the pill is.

However, I DO believe that women are more in tune with their body than men are, and just *KNOW* what something isn't right, or when something won't work. I *KNEW* after the first month of being on OTC Lo I HAD to get off of it, but my OBGYN convinced me to stay on for 3-4 months. The last two were absolute HELL.

IF I go back to the pill, I'm going back on Kariva, because it's the onyl thing that worked -- lowest dose and no side effects.

I don't necessarily think a male vs female makes TOO much difference. A good doc is a good doc, and a good doc will listen to what their patient says and prescribe/advise accordingly.

But going by what you've said, I agree, find someone else.
