Do I have to wait for my period before I can start taking the pill again? I went off the pill for a few months and now I have a stack of six little boxes on my nightstand and no period in sight. What's the point of waiting until I menstrate?? Anyone know?

The question is whether or not you want to take it to regulate your menstrual cycle, or if you want to use it as a contraceptive. If you start mid-cycle (as opposed to starting the pill when you're bleeding), you won't be protected against pregnancy until you've completed the entire pack. If you start it while you're bleeding, you're protected within a week (if you start the pill the first day of your period, you're protected immediately).

If you want to start now, there's no reason not to, but you'll need to use back-up protection (like condoms) until you start the second pack.

Domo-Kun is the mascot for a Japanese television company. He had his own tv show for awhile I believe. The internet just took over his image.

I don't think he actually ever had his own show, he was the star of a series of station promos, and it's grown into an internet cult thing. I think he's cute. :D
