I, just started my period a few days ago... I mean its finished now but a few days earlier i tried a tampon,*first time every* and  I pushed it in and SPLAT a whole bunch of blood came out..I am EXTREMELY worried...Have I broken some kind of "blood pocket"?

I think you have nothing to worry about. I'm no doctor, but a little extra blood in the toilet is very common when inserting and pulling out tampons. Just make sure you read the directions carefully and use the appropriate strength for the appropriate time. Small clots are also common. Remember this is your uterus shedding. It isn't pleasant, but there isn't a "blood bubble" inside you.

its not that i like to sound gross or anything, but let me tell ya that its perfectly normal to have blood (liquid or chunkies) come out when putting in or taking out a tampon. I dont have that issue, per se, but i do often get little chunkies stuck in the applicator when i pull it out. not a nice visual, and its kinda tricky to get it to go back into that dang little plastic package with out making a mess. but you learn to deal with it, and its ok.
