I was just curious if anyone's periods/cycles changed when they went to college?

This is my first year at Mills. I have a very regular cycle, heavy the first two days with horrible cramps the first day, and then light for the last three days. I can pinpoint within five days (between the 18th and the 22nd of the month) when I will have my period.

This month, I got it on the 16th, very light the first day, heavy the next two days, NO cramping whatsoever (O happy day!), not tapering off as much on the fourth day. I think my diet has changed drastically, but I imagine that's true for most freshwomen in college.

so I was just curious if this happened to any one else.

diet and stress can change your cycle (you mentioned diet, but as it's your first year of college I would assume there is also stress).

Diet, stress, lifestyle changes can all create a chaotic change in your cycles. You didn't mention if you're living in residence, but if you are you should know that proximity to other menstruating people can cause your cycle to align with theirs. I've heard of people who live together, both lesbian couples and straight women roommates, who always cycle together.
