I can't help it, I have to talk about my first experience with my Diva cup. I hadn't attempted a 'dry run' with it, because I had heard it was easier once you started, cause it's wet. Okay, so last night, I first tried it. Getting it in wasn't that hard, but the turning thing? Okay, who decided to make us attempt to rotate this thing? Let me just say that having my boyfriend walk in the bathroom while I am in this lovely awkward position, attempting to rotate this thing is not the best experience. I couldn't get it to open up at all. And when it finally did, it felt all kinds of uncomfortable, and moved WAY too far up inside. So, I tried it again, and had no leakage, and no uncomfortableness. Yay. I slept fine with it, and everything. But, let me just inform ya'll that having to get up very first thing in the morning, take this thing out, and try to relearn how to insert it right, is torture to me! Bad start for this morning. And, then, I thought I had it in all good and whatever, got in the car, and instantly I'm feeling all kinds of suction pain. Hello! What's up with that!? So, got to work, twiddled around a bit, I think I have to go back and get better suction with it. So, yea. But I just can't wait till I get used to it, and it's second nature. I feel like a 13 year old, learning to put tampons in. Although, if I was 13, and I had to learn how do use this cup, I would not be the most excited girl around.
