*is new*  Candice, 17, southern California, highschool senior, turning 18 in December.  Adore-er of all things Bunny.

I've had a very nasty, emotionally taxing week.  With bad PMS. 

BUT:  I just found out that a health food store in my immediate area (read- ten minute drive there and back) carries the DivaCup.  And I have been wanting a menstrual cup for ages  (Like, since I found out about the nasty chemical things in tampons.  I don't want those anywhere near my cervix!).  Now I must find a way to get one before my period ends, because I don't want to wait another six weeks before I can try it out.

Most of the nasty chemical stuff in tampons that's reported is myth. (Depending on how you define "nasty chemical stuff," there might be some, but there are a lot of myths floating around.)
