The thing that really bugs me about PMS is not the anger, or the bitchiness that men seem to think is all that PMS is..... it's the feeling like I'm loosing my mind when the littlest things go wrong... like I can't figure out how to use the washing machine or things are set up really retarded. I should be annoyed and midly upset, but instead I'm furious and feel like crying. ARGH!!!!

I usually describe it as "Feeling like I'm out of control" because really, that's what it is. Sometimes I have a hard time not losing control over things that shouldn't normally set me off.

Although one of the worst things for me has got to be the GI symptoms. It's been the best predictor of my periods for years...doesn't matter if I'm on the pill, off the pill, whatever.

GI=gastrointestinal symptoms...

Lots of people get gassy, or have constipation or diarrhea before/during menstruation.

Yeah I always feel like I've got every GI symptom in the book. For example, right now I feel like I've swallowed a large basketball. All I want to do is eat but every time I do I feel like my stomach is weighing me down to the point where I walk funny.

I know - I get forgetful and blank. It's frustrating.

I get so out of it I feel like I'm high or something. It's SO hard to do anything and I cry about everything.

I'm sorry we have to feel this.
