i went to the gynocologist a week and a half ago and got a some birth control (LevLite to be exact). i obviously can't start it until i get my period. and i'm just DYING for it to come. it was 28 days on sunday, and it hasn't come yet. i'm in the BC for a multitude of reasons; my irregular period being one of them. what really sucks is that i feel bloated and gross like i have my period; it even SMELLS like i should have my period. i'm just not BLEEDING. gaah.

funny... i've never WANTED my period before.

I felt like that when I got my samples of the patch. Then I finally started & put the thing on, and by god I had NO magical powers. I had NO euphoric tingling sensation. I felt NO more intuitive and couldn't see any spirits floating about.

What a bummer.

The only thing that freaks me out about it is that the whole thing NEVER sticks down. Like, there's always a wrinkle or two in the middle, so every month I get a little paranoid. But I think I would get paranoid regardless of what pill or patch or shot I was using.

I like it because it's kind of a no-brainer. Most people don't like them because they can be tricky to hide in the summer months, but I don't really give a crap if it hangs out of my pants or my bathing suit, so it works fine for me.
