it's safe to orgasm, just don't have vaginal penetration with one in. orgasm through other means: totally safe.

I've done it tons of times! Nothing bad ever happened. The tampon did tend to kind of move around a little bit, probably because of the vaginal contractions and how wet I become when I orgasm.

I have done it...just stimulated my clitoris and orgasmed with tampon still in. less mess...and no issues afterwards....that's just me though.

If inserted properly it won't slip out - whether you're having an orgasm through masturbation or anal penetration. But like the last person said - do NOT have vaginal intercourse with one in. It can get compressed at the top of the vagina and give you TSS, which causes dizziness, high fever (and I understand lead to death, but fortunately that wasn't my experience - all the rest of this post was though :-(

TSS can kill you. I nearly died because of it. However, I got it from strep in my blood stream when I was 11, before I even started menstruating.

i guess when you say 'dangerous' you mean the danger of slipping out. for me i know that a tampon would never slip out of me no matter what i did unless i was pulling on it, so there my feedback on that. in terms of health problems, there is absolutely no reason why orgasms with tampons should cause any health issue.

I've orgasmed with a tampon in and haven't had any problems; no slipping. It's the most hassle free way to have fun while on your period. Just remember to change tampons shortly after.. as they are meant to mainly absorb menstrual fluid and not discharge. That can be bad for you.
