i took birth control for a few months, and am now off because it didn't help my skin and i didn't have anymore, my mom didn't get me anymore.
my period last month wasn't nearly as heavy as it usually is, and it's not this month either. it's on time, though. i've had cramps like normal, though not as mad because of the change of flow.
does birth control alter the flow even after you've been on it? i've always had a relatively heavy flow, and i'm not sure why it'd change now. this is probably a dumb question, but i'd like to know. can flow randomly change from month to month or was it my birth control? i've been off of that for a little over a month.

I don't know if it is because I was on bc for so long, and my body has had time to adjust, or if it was being on bc that has caused it, but my periods are much lighter now that I am not on it, and I have no cramps (well really slight ones) and my cramps used to be horrendous. I have always been regular, so I can't give advice about that.

It was exactly the same for me. Don't know either if it's from the BC or my body just became wiser with the years :)

yes, flow can change from month to month. it's normal... unless you are bleeding so much you can't keep up with it, or you feel sick, or have a fever with the bleeding.... or you have any other abnormal symptoms with spotting, etc.

it's normal to have one heavy period mixed in with a few lighter ones and a "normal" flow. don't freak out if it's light right now.. it will eventually (maybe next period) become what you are used to as normal.. your body isn't used to not being on the pill.

just don't worry, it makes things worse.

Mine changes randomly from day to day! I'm sure it's normal.
