anybody else feel slightly "irregular" when you have your period?
i just wonder if it's actually period related or if i just so happen to eat stuff that messes me up at the same time every month.

i def. feel ick & yuck... and clumsy, and weepy, and teeth-grindy... sometimes i think i don't even kow what's "real" when i'm having my dot... like i'm so incredibly sensitive to things my gf says that i fly right off the handle, even if it's no big deal. :)

*nods* I just feel completely oogy for a lot of it, between cramps and stomach problems and short temperedness and being annoyed at my monthly period acne....

Yeah, it just stinks sometimes.

Are you talking about...ermm...bathroom regularity? If so, it's a topic that is brought up here a lot. Menstruation gives a bunch of us ladies the runs.

Oh it does? I'm so glad to hear that. I've researched this, and was 100% sure that it was, in fact, only me who had that issue.

I get it, but I just thought that it was because I eat a lot of potasium to keep my cramps low, and lots of strawberries and raspberries...um yeah...

i believe that your body creates a chemical when you are bleeding that makes the blood more fluid, therefore easier to expell, however because of the proximity to your colon, it is also effected by these chemicals, therefore creating loose bowel movements.

the drop in progeterone causes either diarrhea or constipation, depending on your diet. . .this is because it controls smooth muscle function. . . and the intestines are smooth muscle.
