I know your preiod can be irregular, but 4 months? Also, does anybody know of anything to soothe mild stomach cramps (When you're on you period)? Oh, and if this is in memories, please just let me know then erase it thanks!

Was your first period in September? It can take quite awhile for one menstrual cycle to regulate. My second period came *seven months* after my first one. It was completely unexpected and I was at *band camp*, of all places. Yeah, lots of fun for a seventh grader. ;)

when i first got my period, about 8 months into it i lost it for about 5 months. i knew i wasn't pregnant becuase i was still a virgin, and i was only 13 or 14 so i had little to no stress, and i was eating well so i knew that it wasn't any of that...when i finally told my mom she just said that it happens sometimes. i'm no expert here, but i would think that if it goes on longer than 6 months then go to a doctor to see what might be wrong.

and as for cramps..midol works well. or just plain asprin or tylenol. the only difference between asprin and tylenol and midol is that midol has caffiene in it which helps with cramps. and also a hot pad works well. so does a nice hot shower or bath.

I can't remember exactly how long I went between my first and second period, but it was at least six months. It's not at all unusual for it to be several months.

For mild cramps, my gym teacher recommended exercise. Because your uterus is a muscle. I hated her at the time, because I wasn't even on my period, I just wanted to sit out in gym. Now, about 6 years after hearing her advice, I've lost weight and exercise and I almost never get cramps. She was right :P

I would say exercise regularly and when you're on your period, perhaps taking a walk may help a little since you say they are mild. And yeah definatley a hot bath or shower :)
