It's been 36 days since the date of my last period.
Last month I went 38 days between.
Months before have ranged from about 20 - 25 days between.
My question: Should I take a pregnancy test before new years, or should I wait till its really late, and a test mightbe more accurate? I don't know. Gah.

I'd take the test, just in case I drank on New Years. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Plus, I saw a commercial for this one test that tells you if you are or aren't and you don't have to wait until a missed period.

i think that i read that tests are accurate at 14 days after implantation. that would be the week of your period, since your period starts 14 days after ovulation.

so if it's been about 14 days since the encounter that would make you think you are pregnant a test would be pretty accurate.

i think that one test that the other poster is talking about is made by EPT and it's called "first repsonse." they advertise it as that it is accurate 5 days before your period should start. if you want to try that one, but if your period is already "late" then it shouldn't be any more or less accurate really.
