Well, I got my period... and I just wanted to see if anyone can relate to my period crisis.

This is what i act like when I have my period:

1) Loud noises/music makes me really disturbed and almost cry (shock to the system)
2) All I want to eat is hot dinner food.
3) I know that it will feel better after i bathe and get myself cleaned up, but i usually just flop on the couch and do nothing instead.
4) My lower back hurts so much i am ready to cry!
5) I try to snuggle up into the hottest/softest part of the house, and my whole body aches unless i stay still
6) I cant REMEMBER ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!

also::::: i get diahheria(sp) a day or two before my period comes

I ALSO EAT A LOTTTTT MORE FOOD

Does anyone know why?
and can you relate???

1) loud noises....yes Im really like jumpy and sensitive to things like that to!

3) Yes the inability to do anything during your period gets me to. Its just fatigue and exhaustion due to hormones and loss of iron from blood. My room normally gets very messy around this time XD

4) Ugh, I hate back problems I get those if Im walking alot during my peroid.

5) Soft and squishy things are a must! I was at a restraunt the other day when I had my period and ew...the hard chairs felt so much more uncomfortable.

6) Im so out there in terms of memory during my period..I have that same problem to.

So in other words, yes I can relate, your not alone!

i usually get diarreah, but this month i seem to be constipated instead. grr. i wish my digestive system would make up it's mind!

i am totally de-motivated and eat a ton more food too...the body is trying to make up for lost energy and iron. i'm trying a pre-natal vitamin supplement with lots of iron this month...i'll see how it makes me feel.

anyway, i TOTALLY relate to all of the above. :D

Yes to all the above! Oh, and the week before, I usually cry a lot and am really over-sensitive and paranoid. Luckily I know it's just PMS, and am forewarned so I don't go off on unsuspecting people about how they really hate me and are deliberately trying to make me miserable, LOL! But really, I'd be better off in a cave somewhere around that time:)

P.S. I find that ibuprofen really helps me with the pain for the first couple days...at least it gets it down to a dull and manageable level so I can go to work and function somewhat normally.

Loud noises - I am ALWAYS sensative to them. I guess there is this thing (a brain type of thing) out there that causes people to be really sensative to noise. When people are tapping their pens on their desks or whatever - even if theyre across the room I can hear it and I practically have a nervous breakdown over it. That's all the time though, and it just gets worse when I am PMSing.

When I'm PMSing all I want is breakfast foods, but same thing ~ lol.

I don't get cramps too badly, or any back pains (I consider myself a very lucky girl...)::knock on wood::

I get exactly the opposite of you. You want to curl up and I need to be active and doing thing... I "nest"... ie: I clean my room a zillion times, little messes freak me out and I have to clean them immediately... it's so silly. At my boyfriends last week.. his family went on a ski trip and he and I stayed behind because I had the flu (which is now pneumonia! ugh) and they didnt clean the kitchen when they left because they were running late, so all their breakfast dishes were everywhere... yeah - cleaned like, the entire house. His mom was like "omg. youre so wonderful!" lol

And yes. I get diahheria (haha, I dont know how to spell it either) too. But when I have my period, blah.

i'm with you :)

i read a study somewhere that said women burn 300 more calories a day while either pms'ing, so that would explain the hunger. i eat as much sugar as i can while pms'ing, then pretty much eat as little as possible while bleeding.

sometimes i get diarrhea, i usually get pretty intense cramps, and this last time the smell of most food just makes me nauseous. and i'm having trouble drinking liquids. ugh. also, my heated waterbed calls to me during cramps, naturally. but i am required to shower! i can't stand that mess in my undies. i need my down there neat.

i also get massive headaches with pms, which seems to last the entire 3 weeks i'm not bleeding... i also can't remember things, but that's probably because of the headaches - i can't concentrate.

but i need loud fast music to put me in a good mood, so i need it more during that time than normal!
