My sympathies. I just came off a course of antibiotics, with the attendant yeast infection, so I feel your pain. I use a clove of garlic, inserted vaginally. (I slice into it, you may be more sensitive than I.) And externally, I use tea tree oil. Usually if I catch it quickly those work within two days. Because I was still on the antibiotics, this one lasted a full four days. But that's so much better than a week or more.
I was on antibiotice a few weeks ago and got a raging yeast infection. I actually didn't do anything other than drink lots of water and use some monistat itch relief cream. I felt better within two days.
Yeah, I've been on three different antibiotics in the last month, so I knew it was coming. I just basically need an itch cream though. It's not so bad besides that.
watch the refined sugar content in your foods. eat lots of garlic as well as use a garlic clove inserted. you can also take acidopholus pills and use plain unsweeted yogurt to relieve the itching.
