hmm i have a question, can anyone help?

Hey everyone. Basically I have a question about menstruating. I'm a sexually active person. Around the week before New Year's I had protected sex about 3 times. Before these three times i haven't had sex since the summer. My period usually falls around the middle of the month. In the beginning of December i had a mid-cycle with dark residue. Then I got my period around the 12th. Today i also got a brown residue and later on I started to bleed. Is this normal? Could it be because I was so active recently? If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

i don't think the sex would be affecting your period. 3 times in a week is normal, isn't it? i dunno, i have sex two or three times a day, myself. :-) anyway, periods do funny things. if you're getting it on any sort of regular basis, it sounds fine to me. i'm not sure if i understood your whole story, but it sounded like you were saying you got a period last month and a period this month, but the timing was different than usual. i wouldn't be worried about that. you don't mention being on hormonal birth control, and that's the only way to have a sure idea when your period's going to come.
