hi everyone,

ive tried looking in the memories and i cant seem to really find what im looking for, but if it is in the memories i apologize now. please kindly direct me and ill go my way there :)

maybe im freaking out a bit since i tend to do that, but basically here is my situation. my periods are very very regular, they have been for many yrs, it always falls on the same day of every month for as long as i can remember. however, something odd happened i finished my period around dec 30 and everything was fine and dandy. then a few days ago on jan 5 i saw blood in my discharge and now im menstrating well very lightly that is. im not sure if i should be concerned about anything at the moment, am i worrying too much or does this happen?

if it helps or matters i did have intercourse on jan 31 but thats with protection and i am not on the pill.

any help or advice to this matter would be greatly appreciated

Is it possible that you're ovulating? Spotting around ovulation is completely normal.

really? ive never had any kind of spotting or any sort occur before. but thanks for the input im probably just paranoid

Well, every cycle is different and there's a first time for everything. Implantation can be another cause of spotting, but I think that's unlikely since a) you had sex so close to your period and b) you used protection.
