after reading a recent post on here, it kind of reminded me of something that happens during my period, but i wasn't quite sure if it is the same thing as my...problem.

my periods last for about 6-7 days. for the first days of my period, it's normal flow and whatnot. on the 5th or 6th day, it will stop and seem like it's over. but then it usually starts up again for another day or two until it stops completely.

is this normal?

yeah it's perfectly normal... it just means your flow is very light on those days, light enough that it doesn't necessarily show up... i think it happens to a lot of girls in one form or another.

I think that is one of the reasons that my period has gotten shorter, because it has just gotten so light that it doesn't make it to my panties. But I can still feel it, per se, so I think that it is still going. I wouldn't be surprised if it 'started again' being how it feels.

That happens to me too :)
When that usually happens I think to myself, "it is over!" only to realize it comes back. That is a disappointing time.

when i was younger, i'd think things were fine only to realize the day after that sadly, i still had a few days left. =(
