i've got the pre-menstrual clumsies... dropping things (stuff just FLIES out of my fingers!), tripping losing my balance more easily, bumping into things, knocking things over...

it is one of the more annoying aspects of pms, in my opinion.

i wonder why this happens? i know it happens to other people, too, but WHY? is there some sort of chemical thing that happens to cause it?

i hate that! my mom and i both get it pretty badly and it's made so much more frustrating by the fact that i cry over any small thing during that time too. "i dropped my pen, WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?! WAH!!" hehehe

IIRC, there are muscle changes that go along with that point in the menstrual cycle, and as a result, some women are more likely to get certain kinds of injuries, and are generally more clumsy. The only time I've randomly dropped eggs on the floor, for example, when cooking is when I've got PMS.

I don't drop much but I swear the connections in the brain must be slower. Heh. Yesterday I tried to say "veggies" and I said "pasta, wha?! I mean potat...NO. GEEZE, FRUIT! AUUUUUUUUGH. I give up."

At this point my boyfriend had this pathetic look on his face, like "you need some sleep dear."

It sucks in a funny way.

I am such a ditz just before my period. I go to the gym, get there, change, then realize I forgot my sneakers at home. I'll forget things easily, am more clumsy. I tend to twist m joints in correctly and end up injuring my knees and ankles this way.

I get that too. And the shakes (which doesn't help the clumsiness). Mother Nature can be a cruel cruel bitch sometimes.

ps. Today is the first day of PMS for me...yay.

Natural suppliments..

Start slowly adding vitex (chaste tree) and Evening Primrose (cold pressed) to your intake.

Vitamine E will help with hot flashes, skin, and hair

Omega 3 will help balance the Omega 6 from the Evening Primrose. I recommend Fish Oil since the enzymes that process flax seed into Omega 3 are also the same enzymes that break down corn and soy, both high in the average diet. PLEASE DO CHECK to see if the fish oil you take has reversse osmosis filtering, or some other HIGH FILTRATION process used as most of the fatty fish they get the oil from have had an amount of mercury found and since what you are taking is a CONCENTRATE, you don't want the concentrated amount of mercury as well.

The omega 3 will also help prevent breast cancer, heart conditions, and aid in the treatment of depression and bi-polar.

*grynz* Well I hope it is a good thing! I know these suppliments have made a big difference in my life as a female!

Note on Omega 3:

If you look into the Omega 3, ask if they have molecular filtrations. I know I called Kirkland's, which is what Costco carries, and the woman I spoke to comfirmed they did.

Don't care...

I get completely and utterly apathetic. I really start to not give a d**n about anything. It has been so bad a couple of times that I have barely shown up for finals and job intrveiws! It was even worse when I was on the pill. I will just walk around in this haze, not caring if I even swear in front of kids (and omg that is a big thing for me who loves the kiddies!) Once I am finished, or at the end, I get all emotional about all the stuff that I did, because I feel guilty for not reacting. I am just glad that even though I don't care that I do something, I still do it. Some moral compas kicks in somewhere!
