late b/c of the national crisis?

hey ladies! i am currently going on 2 days late of my really really regular period. and i know one other time i was a week late due to HIGH stress, but could it be the terrorism crisis? even though i dont live near new york, d.c. or pennsylvania, i have been watching the news a lot and keeping up with everything. my face is breaking out, which is one of the biggest signs that i am going to get it soon, but could a national crisis really affect my lil ole period? seems strange....any thoughts or similar experiences would really help me! thanks!

I live all the way out on the West Coast and everyone here-- and everywhere-- seemed to be in sort of a daze, plus the media is not letting us escape what happened. So if you feel this is the cause, it's probably the cause.
