This is the damndest thing. My period is due. I've got cramps. When I sit at my desk at work, I *feel* that period moistness. When I sit on the toilet, I *smell* period. Yet, no period. Stupid body, playing with me like this.

She will come. But I totally hate that - it's there, but not there. You just want it to come to get it over with and be there! Anyway, hope your cramps feel better. They're not so much fun.

She's not normally like this, she usually just wakes me up at night, and I'm good to go.

mine does that too! for days i wear tampons and pads expecting it to come! our uterus' need to start being a bit nicer to us.

i get that too!
my cramps don't usually kick in until the bleeding does, but i DEFINITELY smell and feel that there should be blood there... weird.

Man I hate phantom periods. It's like you get all the fun of having it for a day or two but there's nothing there so you get like an extra 2 days of mushy squishy-ness tacked onto your period.

Yargh, I get EXACTLY the same thing. The thing is that you never know when it's going to come so I panic and make sure all of my pads (I use reusable ones) are washed (because I don't like putting something that's been sitting in a bag for the past 28 days down there) and then wear them only to find that it doesn't come for a couple of days.
