Even if one were close to getting her period, but started up the pill again for her skin after a few month break, would she not get her period until placebo week, even if that's a good 2 weeks away and she hasn't gotten her period for at least a month?

It's possible that the hormones shocked your system a little bit and your period went, "I thought it was my turn.... but now I'm being told to wait. Ok, guess I'll see you in a couple weeks."

its always better to take the pill on the day u have your period when you are starting the pill. and that does also count for a few months break.
i forgot about that once and start my cycle of pill in the middle. and i started bleeding/spotting non stop until i stopped the pill.
dunno. be weary. if it happens though, just stop, wait for a real period and follow the rules.
i also used to take the pill for my skin as well. but a constant bleeding is NO FUN!
