if you haven't ovulated, will use of emmenagogues/uterine contracting herbs not work?

[basically, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am not pregnant, but I have been drinking parsley, sage and ginger for about 10 days now and still nothing. I'm not stressed, haven't lost or gained any weight, etc. I used to keep track of discharge and stuff to guess at when I might be ovulating but I slacked off the past few months so I don't know what's up. thoughts?]

They will not work if there is no lining to shed. You body has to be ready for the action for it to be stimulated. So if you have not ovulated or it is too soon after ovulation, you will not be able to induce a period. But if you are drinking that much parsely, you may want to take vitamins, especially iron, because it can wash out minerals out of your body drinking that much tea.
