Apr. 11th, 2005 11:08 amMy stomach has joined forces with my uterus and they are playing a nasty joke on me this time around.
So I wake up this morning at 6:30, with my Diva already in from yesterday in preperation, to horrible stomach cramps and nausia. So naturally I go to the bathroom. I swear I was there forever with no relief in site. Then I go call in to work because there is no way I can even get dressed let alone drive to work and be productive. After I use the bathroom about 4 more times in a 10 minute span of time I finally just sit at my computer. Then I start to look for my Midol (which I can never keep track of!) and all of the sudden I know that if I don't sit/lay down right that second I was going to throw up. So sit down I did, only to find out that I had to actually lay down as much as I could as sitting had the same effect as standing. I tried to get back up for a bit only to end up back down again. After staring at my monitor for a while I decide I should probably go shut my alarm off (bedroom is in the basement). I get down there thinking I would be able to make it back upstairs but realize that was just not happening. So I layed in bed for about a half hour contemplating whether or not I could roll over to grab the trashcan just in case and then still have enough time to grab the heating pad from the other side of the bed. I only managed the heating pad. At this point I realize that I must lay flat or I will get horrible pains from just below my breasts and probably throw up. I finally get that under control and lay on my side in the fetal possition with a pillow holding the heating pad to me. I fall asleep but during that 3 hour time I must have tossed and turned an aweful lot. Now I have a headache and the cramps have set in and I still don't know where my Midol went. *whimper*
I don't think I have EVER felt this bad on day 1, ever!
