mind over matter?

menstrualhuti started my period early!!
I was supposed to start, at 28 days on the 15th... but, was thinking more around the 19th was when i would start... But! i am hanging with my BF in portlad on the 20th-25th-- didn't want to bleed then! I didn't want to fly and have "the hassle"-- so i told myself that if i didn't start by the 12th-- i would "induce it".. a wives tale is parsley and garlic in large consumption will start the menses... but i do not know for sure... so-- on monday, i ate some garlic and warned my body "you'll get more if you don't do what you're supposed to!" An idle threat, since i love garlic anyway. But!-- walla! i might just have some psychological controle over "womanhood"-- because i know i can make it end whenever i want... but i think i made myself start! by 9pm yesterday-- monday night BAM! started... Looks like i will be done with the whole thing before my flight next week-- thank you goddesses and gods! ;) Not sure how or why... but, at least it won't be a hassle over my vacation.
