So, does anybody know why the bottle of Pamprin I bought today contains a warning about not taking it if you have prostate problems?

I'm curious. :)

Also, I was put on Alesse/Aviane in January, but stopped using it after two packs because my reactions to it got so bad that eventually just the thought of taking my pill made me ill. Today was my first period since going off of the pill, and it's been terrible - I never had any bad stuff happen during my period before, and the period itself was fairly moderate...but today I had bloating and cramping so bad that I had to buy the aforementioned Pamprin, and I filled up Super absorbency tampons in less than an hour - for about four hours straight, until I switched to something higher (which I had never needed before). This hasn't ever happened to me before, and I'm curious as to why. Is it just because my body was getting used to the Pill, and now it has to readjust, or what? Is it going to eventually go back to the way it was before, or is this going to be permanent? (I can't afford to drop ten dollars a day on painkillers and tampons like I had to today...)

That is funny..it is probably there because people take it for reasons other than what it is marketed for, but ya...can't imagine a lot of men walking into a pharmacy to pick up a bottle of Pamprin when they could get a bottle of Advil instead...

In response to your other problem, I have had the same thing happen when I stopped taking pills. My first few periods after were horrid with cramps, nausea, headaches and all sorts of other fun stuff. It will die down and your period will get back to normal.

Since some guys (like my boyfriend) refuse to go buy anything for themselves that would imply they could get sick, and would instead just raid their female partner's medicine cabinet. Pamprin, Midol, etc., don't have anything that men shouldn't have, just packaged for women.

My male roommate steals the Midol from our other female roommate. It continually makes me laugh.
