inducing an early period

Hi kids! I haven't followed posts here for quite a while and I know this has been covered many, many times, but I couldn't find anything in the memories.

I'm due to start my period May 21 (I keep track on my calendar). My prom is also May 21. The first day of my period I have wickedbad cramps and sleep all afternoon (though I'm starting Estrostep to help with the cramps). What can I use to force my period about a week early so I'm not all bleedy and icky for prom? Also, does anyone have experience with Estrostep?

I don't know how to induce a period, but vaginapagina.com has info in the archive. also, I was on EstroStep for a while and I liked it. do you have any specific questions or concerns?

Is it all the same dose of the wossname, or is it like Ortho-Tri? The woman I talked to said it's the same all month, but I was reading through the little booklet and it started talking about the different shapes of the pills and all that.

no, it's a graduated dose. it's supposed to be easier on your body.

no, but you can use things like parsley tea to induce it early. there are recommendations on vaginapagina.com in the archive.
