I'm on my period right now, but I have to go the bathroom every 30 minutes to an hour and when I go, there's, I guess you could say, a glob that's dark red. Is that abnormal?

Nope! It's just a blood clot which is perfectly normal, I get them all the time. It's just the way that the blood's being expelled from the womb - it's just not turning runny :)

Not unusual at all. You lose both flesh and blood during your period, and it could either be a blood clot, or a large piece of flesh. Since it's the uterine lining, it looks like an odd lump. As for the bathroom...you were retaining water before your period, now you're expelling it. Also normal.

It's not a blood clot as others have said, that is a common misconception - it will be a larger piece of uterus lining, uterus lining being the primary thing expelled from your body during menstruation.
