lymph node nuttiness

i'll have my dot pretty soon, 2 days, if i had to guess from the soreness of my breasts. :) but i noticed something wierd: an enlarged lymph node in my groin on the left side. i noticed it when my cat climbe donto my la and it hurt. i've never had this before - has anyone else? what did you do about it?

I have it. I haven't been to the doctor for it exactly but I have had a lot of exams with them and nothing has been brought up.

i figure i'll wait and see if it goes away after my period and then i'll get worried. none of the other glands are swollen and this one isn't swollen much, so i'm not terribly concerned, but it is always worthy of taking note when your body does something it doesn't normally do. :) good luck to you, too!

I noticed something similar about a month ago. It was really irritating, but only when I touched it, so I stopped touching it and completely forgot about it until just now. I guess that means it went away because it's definitely gone.

good to know. i'm giving it some time and see if it goes away after my period. if it doesn't, i guess i'll go in and see someone. but my fingers are crossed to avoid a doc visit. :)

Yeah I wouldn't forget about it if I could go back & have that thing again, but don't stress about it until you know it's a lingering thing.
