Unusually heavy period
May. 16th, 2005 02:06 pmHi... usually my period lasts 4-5 days and is never too heavy. I'm on day 4 now and it's still really heavy, as in I can feel it kind of coming out. When I go to the toilet it sort of gushes a bit.
I'm worried that it won't stop... it calmed down when I was asleep last night but this morning I went to the toilet and big clots came out. I couldn't be miscarrying could I?
This may be just an usally heavy period but because I'm not used to it I'm worrying that I'm losing too much blood and such.
I did start taking the pill on Friday but for certain reasons couldn't take it again and have to restart- could this have caused the upset?

Unsolicited advice: you might want to be sure to ingest enough iron, so that you don't start swinging towards anemia....
