Aw Crap

I've had this particular THING happen once before, but I managed to sort that out and find the cause of the issue... this time I can't figure it out.

I've been having, for about 3 days now, this YI-like discharge going on. I refuse to believe (without verification) that it's a YI because I've had one before and that was HORRIBLY itchy/burny and uncomfortable. This is just gross and nagging. The same consistency and texture as a YI would cause, but none of the ow factor. Just for the sake of tellin' it like it is, I'm in the middle of my first week of active generic-Mircette pills for the month, and had protected sex for the first time in 3 months on Friday.

Any ideas what this might be? Do I have to see a doc about it or can anyone suggest some at-home remedies?

Thanks ladies, love you all.

as it's been 3 days, and it's new, i'd suggest the tried-and-true remedy of seeing a doctor :)

try Planned Parenthood or somewhere like that?

also, it's my understanding that cranberry pills will sooth a UTI but nothing else?

plain unsweetend yogurt,
eat it (i know its not tasty)
dip a tampon in it and insert.
Avoid sugar, refined flours, etc.
Do this for a few days and you should be fine!

If not you've done nothing toxic to your body, and wont have aggrivated the condition.
Go see a doctor if you worsen.

when its covered in yogurt.
yogurt has good bacteria that fight the yeast.
i've cured many a yeast infection this way, as have many many other women I know.

It could still be a YI even if it's not like your previous cases, but I've heard that bacterial vaginosis can look like a YI. You'd need to see a doctor to find out. I guess if you don't see an improvement with self YI treatments like the yogurt mentioned above, you'll have to, since I don't know that you can treat bacterial vaginosis by yourself. good luck.
