Jun. 23rd, 2005 03:14 pmhey there. my name's di. i'm 20 years old from michigan. i'm a soccer player and am currently on a killer work out. a lot of running for time, sprinting, ab work, push ups, etc.
so i know its normal for female athletes to have whacked out periods and all that fun stuff. so it is normal for spotting? it just happened yesterday, and my cousin, who is also a member, tells me it normal, especially when you change your diet and exercise routines and are an athlete. can anyone relate, and give me some more feed back? thanks :)

If you lose your period due to exercise, it can make your bones start to thin, just like a post-menapausal woman.
Something you might want to discuss with your gynocologist. Best of luck!
