i drank it a couple of hours ago and nothing is happening yet. i was under the impression that it worked pretty quickly. i wonder if you have an idea if i'm doing it wrong? i boiled the water, then poured it over the fresh parsley (i only used about 1/3 of the bunch) and let it steep for about 5-10 minutes. then i strained the parsley out and drank the water/"tea." should i maybe do more of the parsley? or did i make it wrong?

and i'm definitely going to try it with milk and sugar, because it was pretty icky for me.

because i've been apart from my honey for 3 weeks and she's going to be home in 5 days. my period has all but started, but i really want it to get over with by the time she's home. parsley tea brings it on.

Have you seen Rejected (http://www.bitterfilms.com/rejected.html)? There is a sceen where that line brings laughter...
If you do find that you have your period when she is home, pick up a pack of Insteads. It will help in making the fun not so icky. She might feel it but it is not intrusive!

good idea! i use sea sponges, which generally do the trick, and actually we don't usually let it stop us anyway, but i really want it to be done when she gets home. damned womynhood. :)

i just put honey in it and kind of enjoyed it.

i used dry parsley... i think i used a tablespoon (or maybe two) per cup of water. it was still very clear with a greenish yellow tinge.

i drank 3 cups and woke up with my period the next morning.
