Jun. 25th, 2005 05:36 pmHello, I am new here and seeking advice/opinions.
So, I haven't had my period since March. I probably should have seen a doctor after missing it in April, but I seemed to have found excuses for these glorious periodless months. In April, I was stressed out because of school. Also, I started slacking on my healthy diet and ate more junk food/became less active. Then in May I super stressed with finals and had my wisdom teeth removed and lost weight after not eating solid food for a week or so. Now, July is approaching and my period is still missing in action. I'd like to blame my wacky nutrition and exercise habits. I was never a big exerciser, but in June I started doing aerobic workouts and removing all unhealthy foods from my diet. However, I am not the best at either and my activity levels and caloric intake constantly vary. I think I may have lost 5-10 lbs in the past 2 months, but I'm not even sure. I'd like to say that the disappearance of my period is due to all of this. I'm certainly not pregnant, as I haven't had sex yet. I'm probably going to see my doctor next week, but I'm just curious as to what you guys think. Is it possible that something else is wrong with me? I hope not.
