if she takes her pills properly, i'd say there's only a really really really rare chance she's pregnant.

also, how was her period "wacked out"? as far as i know... period = not pregnant. she could take a pregnancy test just to be sure, i suppose.

Well it looks like I'm not the only one! It's calming if you ask me. But I am definitely not pregnant and don't even want children.

If she was correctly taking the pill, it shouldn't have been unprotected (that is, she's still protected againt pregnancy, though not against STDs). Assuming she's been taking them correctly, they're probably fine. (It *is* true that some women do bleed lightly while they are in the early months of pregnancy, but it's pretty uncommon, plus it's pretty uncommon to get pregnant while correctly taking birth control pills.)

I'd suggest that to help calm things, she should get an over-the-counter pregnancy test and take it.

I have no idea about the rubbing the abdomen thing :)

Out of curiosity, to piggyback off of this question, in the early months of pregnancy how much bleeding occurs? And how common is it to occur?

Oh, geez, I have no idea how statistically likely it is. I have just heard anecdotally that it can happen and is not unheard-of. What I'd heard suggests it's usually lighter than a normal menstrual period, but not necessarily.

I've never been pregnant, so zero personal experience, either, I'm afraid....
