Hi everyone. I just joined because I have a quick question. It may sound kind of stupid, and I should probably know this, but I was just wondering. My boyfriend lives about 6 hours away from me and he's planning on coming down to visit me towards the end of the month for a few days. However, I usually get my period at the end of the month and I'm afraid I will have it then, therefore prohibiting us to engage in certain activities we might if I didn't have it. What I'm wondering is if there is any way to delay it or be sure I won't have it while he's here. He can't come up any sooner because he'll be busy with work, so I'm really hoping not to have it when he comes down. I know this is probably a stupid question, but I figured I might as well ask anyway. Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

If you take the pill, there are some brands that allow you to manipulate or skip your period for a week. I didn't really look over this site much, but maybe it could be of help to you? http://thewelltimedperiod.blogspot.com/2005/01/skip-period-regimens.html

I used to take Ortho Evra but after I got out of my last relationship I was single for a while so I stopped taking it. I took a look at the site and since I'm not on any birth control at the moment, it's not much help to me, but thanks anyway! I guess I'll just hope for the best.
