I'm sorry if something like this has been asked before...

My period, which usually comes at an average of every 24 days, is now 3 days late IF we're going on a 28-day cycle.

I stopped taking Seasonale exactly a month ago, and instead of starting my period the next week like the brochure said I would, I started that very day and it went on for like a week.

I only took Seasonale for a month and a half maybe. I stopped because it was making me really cranky and I was afraid I'd gain weight.

I'm super-cranky right now too and keep getting random, sharp headaches, but no breast tenderness like usual. Everytime I feel queasy and swear I'm going to start, nothing happens.

I was just wondering if this is most likely Seasonale still screwing with me? I'm a little worried because this never happens, even though there's no chance I'm pregnant.

Thanks!

It could very well be the aftereffects of the hormonal b/c--your cycle can be affected for a couple of months after using it. When I went off the Pill last year I had irregular periods for two or three months after, which was irritating. I didn't feel sick, but certainly had more PMS woes while my body readjusted to being "normal" again.

Although obviously if you continue to feel ill and are worried, you should check with a doctor to be sure there's not something else going on.

I have also heard that even though the synthetic hormones have left your body, the effects linger. Your body is trying to readjust to making it's own hormones now. I'd give it 3-6 mo...
