good day ladies. happy full moon. in contradiction to my recent comment, i am now thrilled to be having my period during the full moon. i made a moon-y icon & plan on making more blood &/or moon themed ones to share if anyone wants any. (that's me in this one, but you may steal if you wish.)

i'm wicccan, & i'm doing my first ritual in ages tonight. anybody do any menstruation themed rituals- religious or just personal (like my chick-flick, heating pad, & hot tea last night) you'd like to share?

I try to make a different kind of cookie each month, and have girly times with friends.

I find it very hard to do ritual when i'm menstruating, I tire easily and it's hard for me to ground.

Do you find you cramp more on full-moon cycles?

yes!!! i had easrier periods, at least i think i did, when i was synched with new moon.

I dont remember about cramping, but i found when i bled on the full moon, and ovulated on the new moon, my emotions were very hard to deal with. I would get PMS like sypmtoms when i was ovulating, and be incredibly hormonal and sad.

I'm bleeding today and I loved the amazing full moon we had last night. I am in exactly the right mood for some lunar icons!

I always feel that it's a ritual of some kind for me when I get out my soft red bag of home-made cloth pads, which I love. I even enjoy washing them.
