Highly bizarre discharge issues.

Typically I don't find myself needing to ask questions about what my snatch is up to. I read a lot about women's health and lurk around on these types of communities. I'm 21 and have had my period for 7 years, since the fall of my 14th year. My period has never been quite regular, averaging at about a 36-day cycle. Frequently stress (especially stress caused by moving residentially) will throw me off by an entire month. I was 52 days late once. I typically don't get terribly painful cramps, or at least I didn't- the past two periods have had me close to tears (and that's saying something because I'm a trooper) and curled up all fetally and pathetically.

So anyway, the current deal is this: I got my period (only 5 days late [of a 28-day cycle] this time.) It lasted 6 days and then I've done nothing but leak dark brownish watery (HEAVY FLOW!) discharge ever since (it's been about 5 days.)

I googled this issue, but the only things I could find about it pertained to BCP's, and I haven't been on The Pill (or any form of contraception except condoms and pulling out) since I was 18.

There is a chance I could be pregnant- my fiance and I don't pull out if I have my period, and once about four weeks ago we decided to stay in and see what fate had for us (we're not opposed to getting pregnant.)

So I guess what I'm wondering is: I couldn't be pregnant, could I? Could this be caused by that at all? He ejaculated in me twice while I was bleeding- I know there's a very slender risk of getting pregnant while menstruating- so could that have happened, and the abrupt change in my hormones caused this stop in 'regular' blood loss?

Or should I just call a doctor?

at the end of my period, it's all dark brown and almost paste-texture. but even so, that's one long time to be bleeding!

go see your doc. i don't think you're pregnant, but possibly iron deficient or something maybe? worth getting checked out.

Dark-brownish discharge is nothing to worry about. It's either your down yonder's cleaning out, and mostly just-- old blood.

If you got your period, even if late, there shouldn't be much of a worry. But then again, my doctors/nurses have told me "if you want to ease your mind, just spend 10 bucks on a home preggo test."
