Aug. 22nd, 2005 12:37 amHi everybody! My name is Michelle, 28, living in Houston, Texas. I have a question regarding an unusual period this month...
Usually, my period lasts about 3-4 days. Day 1 is medium/heavy flow, day 2 is very heavy, day 3 is medium and by day 4 it's either done or I'm spotting. This month, day 1 was light, day 2 was medium, and day 3 was very light spotting.
What do you suppose this means? I had been very stressed over a situation for a few weeks before this. Can stress have an impact on your period?
Thanks for any advice!

And lucky you with your short periods ;)

As they often say in here, if you're worried, buy a pregnancy test. They're not too expensive, and they will probably set your mind at ease :)

Date: 2005-08-22 06:45 pm (UTC)You are SO right! I was stressing pretty hard yesterday. I did buy a test and it came out very clearly negative, but from what I know, those tests usually won't show a correct positive reading until after about 3 weeks from the date of conception. My boyfriend didn't see what the big deal was. In his mind, he's thinking, "Eh, she still had her period. She's fine." Men think it's just that simple. HA!
