Anyone get this kind of pain?
Sep. 10th, 2005 09:31 amHi there, so I suffer from a bladder and bowel disease so am used to feeling all kinds of weird and (not at all) wonderful things, but someone suggested to me this could be ovulation pain and I wondered if anyone's experienced anything like it? My periods have been sort of, 2 weeks later the past couple of months, only about 2 weeks before it's supposed to be due I get a pinky discharge. Anyway..
Last night after having my first "great" day in a while (though lets face it even the "great" days are pretty hard!), but in the later evening I started getting a really sharp pain in my left hip, sort of where I guess my ovary might be close? It went on for about half an hour, then moved into the centre of my bladder, but it was a weird pain, even though it was constant, it was like it was electric currents running all over my bladder in different places..and throughout both the side pain and the bladder pain, I had this really sharp place I guess..in my bowels or in my rectum? The only way I can try to describe it would be that I felt I could have had a bowel movement and the pain would have come out with (and I kept feeling I had to "go" but I didn't need to at all, my bowels have been better the past 2 days)!
Er..TMI?
Anybody had it?

Date: 2005-09-11 07:27 pm (UTC)my stomach & intestines are a mess as it is and periods make them worse, so i always figured it was due to that. nothing unusual was ever discovered during my exam... though i never mentioned this problem to my gyaenocologist.
i always thought i was alone too.
