I hate it when my period is late (about a month late this time). That seems to make it about twice as heavy when it does come.

Like now. I tried to put a tampon in and ended up bleeding all over the floor. It's craziness.

And speaking of tampons...I love them, but I hate how if you don't "aim" it exactly right, as in straight in, it hurts and won't budge. It's trial and error. Urgh.

I prefer OB tampons. They are smaller and expand instead of get longer. So you/I don't end up poking themselves inside. I understand what your talking about though

Thanks for the tip - I've been planning on trying ob, but it'll probably have to wait til next month. I actually *just* started wearing tampons, and I've tried Kotex Security and Playtex SilkGlide...the latter is definitely easier to insert, but it's still kind of tricky.

You might want to check your absorbancy Z. Sometimes, that makes all the difference in the world.

But like one of the other girls, I too prefer OB over all other tampons. They are easier to insert and you get a better "feel" for position with them. That's partly due to the fact that they're the non-applicator kind.

Applicator tampons annoy me and are messier than non-applicator tampons. I know it may sound kind of gross, but with non-applicator you catch a lot of fluid on the way and therefore get less leakage.
